Meet Our IMSG’11 Squad!

TeamEN will have 6 athletes on the course this year. Please meet a few of them below. Use our RaceTracker on race day to follow their progress!

And of course, Coach Rich will be on the bike and run courses, as well as behind the finishline, taking pictures, video, interviewing the Team after they finish, and much more! Look for tweets from him throughout the day!

Cynthia Snyder
“This is it – going out with a BANG!
I have competed in 6 Ironman races to date – Florida (2x), Germany, Canada and Hawaii World Championship (2x). I have decided to make 2011 my last year of IM distance (too hard on this old body). My goal is one more time in Hawaii….and I hope St. George will get me there! I am getting married on June 18th to Mike, my “boyfriend” of the past 25 years! What a perfect honeymoon – to be in Kona in October. Mike is wonderful for letting me get my training in without too much complaining. He is also a great spectator and I’m sure he will be cheering for all of the EnduranceNation competitors in St. George. Oh, by the way – latest weather report – Sunny and 86 deg F! Yikes a hot one!”

George Sadler
I live in Round Rock, TX (just outside of Austin) with my wife Hamidah and three girls, Savannah, Michaela, and Elaina (11, 8, 5), who will all be with us in Utah next week.  When I’m not training, I work at Dell in marketing.  This is my second season racing triathlons and my first season with EN (Nov OS).  Last year I completed 6 races, finishing with my first half Ironman in October, the same race I intend to end my season with this year (but with a big improvement!)  IM Utah will be my first full Ironman distance race and will kick off my 2011 season.  My goals are to finish strong and to have a good race experience on which to build in my next IM.  My endurance background is primarily running, although I did complete a 10-day adventure race back in college (1995 inaugural Eco Challenge in Utah…hmm is this a pattern?)

Robin Sarner
45 year old family physician in Tacoma, Washington.   Live with wife Lisa.    I’ll be doing St. George alone, but we’ll be doing Regensburg together.  I’m from Maui originally so getting to race in Kona sometime would be especially special.
Long time runner.   Used to be an outrigger canoe racer, and raced the six man outrigger canoe race from Molokai to Oahu a few years ago (40 miles.  Molokai Hoe).  Our nutrition got left behind by mistake so did the seven hours with a bit of Gatorade.
Like to change my outdoor sports focus every few years. Mom will be my support team at St. George.   Looking forward to racing.
Best of luck to all at St. George!

Also racing for TeamEN are Deb Burley, 22x IM finisher Eric Blakie from the UK, and 1st timer Brent Rowe from Idaho Falls!

Good luck to everyone!

Welcome!

THIS IS THE UNOFFICIAL RACE INFORMATION SITE FOR Ironman Saint George.

With more than 15 athletes on the course every year , we have a wealth of knowledge about St George…and now it’s available for FREE.

That’s right, we’ve compiled all our information and resources into one single place to help you. We are on a mission to change the age-group triathlon game by eliminating home field advantage and making everyone as fast and as smart as possible — what you do from there on race day is up to you!

Please review our FREE Seminar and learn more about Endurance Nation. Perhaps you might consider a FREE Trial Membership or maybe you just want to purchase one of our detailed and proven training plans? At the very least, you should consider RSVP-ing to our pre-race Four Keys of Ironman Execution Talk. We’ve delivered the Four Keys Talk to thousands of athletes, live at the race venues, over the years and thousands more have watched the Four Keys DVD. We’ll teach you everything you need to know about how to race Ironman Saint George.
